This will be achieved by operating and maintaining a quality management system that meets the requirements of the European Quality Standard EN ISO 9001:2000.
All our employees have been made aware of our commitment and objectives for quality. Personnel in supervisory positions are required to ensure that the policy is understood and implemented in the areas of their responsibility.
Our business plan contains a number of objectives that must be met to ensure the plan's success. These objectives in turn determine the objectives of our employees that are satisfied by training and development of the individual where necessary.
Investors in People
Investors in People is the only quality standard which focuses on people.
It links well with our ISO Standard for Production Quality.
It
is an exacting standard which has taken three years to achieve. The
process involves a review to benchmark the company against the standard
criteria, followed by an action plan to address any issues arising.
When completed an assessment is made, and the standard was successfully
achieved here at Wiltshire (Bristol) late in 2004. This is not the end
merely the beginning of a means of continued improvement in line with
both future internal and external customer needs, a process which is
well embedded within this company.
Achieving this award in such a dynamic business, with its constantly
changing industry requirements was a challenging task, but was met by
the hard work and commitment of everyone at Wiltshire (Bristol).
